Mary Elizabeth Perez is a music journalist from the Bay Area. She has been involved in journalism since 2012 and music journalism since 2017, and through various publications, she has started as a contributor and worked her way up to leadership positions. At the end of 2020, she became Editor-in-Chief of Kinda Cool Magazine and currently leads over 40 women internationally in creating new content for the magazine.
Outside of her journalism work, Mary holds a BA in Psychology from Temple University and enjoys watching the Golden State Warriors, playing board games with friends, and working with children in her free time. She was previously involved in her college's radio station, WHIP, as Assistant Music Director, as well as a radio show host and sports photographer. She also has done freelance photography for various artists within the K-pop realm, including Chuu and Xikers.
